Serving at Nora Elementary

Fall Serving Opportunities at Nora Elementary

It’s starting to feel a little more like fall every day and that means the coats are coming out of the closet and fun fall activities will be happening! There are several opportunities for you to serve at Nora Elementary School and the Nora community in very significant ways:

NORA COAT GIVEAWAY: This is an amazing project that Church at the Crossing has sponsored for the last 3 years. We have the opportunity to provide coats to over 600 children at Nora Elementary so that they will not be without a coat this winter. This is a HUGE project and we need volunteers to set-up the gym the day before, and also to help kids choose and try on their new coats at the event during the school day.

  • Set-up - Sunday, October 22; 3-5 p.m.
  • Distribution - Monday, October 23; 8:30 a.m.-Noon

TRUNK-N-TREAT: Every year we provide a Trunk-n-Treat experience at Nora Elementary’s fall festival. This is a great all-ages event and a fun opportunity for families and small groups to serve together.

  • Host a Trunk - Friday, October 27; 5:15-8:30 p.m.
  • Donate Candy - Happening right now! Drop your peanut-free bags of candy in the crate in the lobby on Sundays.

ONGOING PROJECTS: There are always ways you can get involved in serving at Nora Elementary through the Food Pantry (next one on October 18) and 4Kids Tutoring.
