Faith, Hope, and Love in the Midst of Hard Times -
A study of 1 Thessalonians. What happens when things don’t go your way? Does your faith get stronger or weaker when things go wrong? In the ancient city of Thessalonica, Paul the Apostle planted a church and then things went awry. In 1 Thessalonians, he writes a letter to these Christians who have found the way to thrive in the midst of opposition. If you have gone through a disappointment in life, especially within the church, this is a good study for you. Led by Kevin Yaney.
GriefShare -
At GriefShare* you’ll receive valuable guidance and tips, leading you to relief, comfort, and peace of mind. A GriefShare support group is a safe, welcoming place where people understand the difficult emotions of grief. Through this 13-week group, you’ll discover what to expect in the days ahead and what’s “normal” in grief. Since there are no neat, orderly stages of grief, you’ll learn helpful ways of coping with it, in all its unpredictability—and gain solid support each step of the way.
There is a class workbook that you will use throughout the program which costs $20. Please bring the money with you on your first night and the workbook will be distributed in class.
